Nestled in the southern part of Phu Quoc, often referred to as Vietnam’s “Pearl Island,” The SENS Leisure Lounge embraces the island’s breathtaking beauty and tranquil atmosphere. With its prime location, BOHO Décor has introduced the “Leisure” concept into this lounge, marking the first of its kind within the SASCO system. Drawing inspiration from the magical dawn of Phu Quoc, where nature harmonizes with local culture and daily life, this design encapsulates the island’s essence.

As the design and renovation partner for The SENS Leisure Lounge, BOHO Décor has skillfully translated the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc into architectural language:

• The shimmering essence of pearls is reflected through metallic decorative elements, capturing and amplifying natural light.
• The abundant anchovy catches, a vital source of livelihood for local fishermen, are subtly echoed in the fluid lines of the ceiling and wall designs.
• The breathtaking moment of dawn breaking over the ocean is brought to life through an interior color palette of golden hues, warm oranges, and deep blues, reminiscent of the gentle sunrise and the radiant sunset stretching across the vast sea.

This design not only creates a visually stunning space but also preserves the story of Phu Quoc’s people and nature, allowing every visitor to experience the island’s soul.

One of the key challenges for BOHO Décor was ensuring that the renovation adhered to strict structural and fire safety regulations without interfering with the terminal’s load-bearing framework. The solution was to focus on spatial arrangement, maintaining the integrity of the existing structure. Transparent glass partitions, independent of walls, floors, or support columns, were strategically placed to define areas while maintaining an open and seamless flow from the reception to various lounge zones.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by the reception counter, highlighted by a decorative feature wall with metallic finishes and a fluid, curved form reminiscent of a radiant pearl. Inside, the thoughtfully arranged furniture enhances movement flow. Lightweight, modern seating arrangements optimize space efficiency while incorporating built-in amenities such as floor-embedded power outlets and small tables for personal belongings, catering to both work and relaxation needs. The dining area is equally well-designed, ensuring comfort, easy maintenance, and adaptability for both individual travelers and families.

A striking artistic installation, inspired by the rising sun, takes center stage within the lounge. Crafted from metal frames, it captures the golden, orange, blue, and white hues of dawn, casting a warm, inviting glow. This signature element not only enhances the lounge’s aesthetic appeal but also serves as the connecting theme that ties the entire space together.

To further enrich the ambiance, strategically placed greenery softens the environment, particularly near the reception and seating areas. Each section of the lounge carries its own unique character, yet they all share a cohesive design language that integrates natural elements, fostering a sense of freshness, relaxation, and harmony.

Every corner of The SENS Leisure Lounge has been meticulously designed by BOHO Décor to accommodate the diverse needs of travelers.
